Our lab is thrilled to share some exciting news. Ms. Ashira Thadisena, a high school student from Little Rock Central High, conducted her Science project in our lab, with guidance from senior graduate student Farhana Taher Sumya. Last week, Ashira presented her project titled “Disruption of Golgi Function in Human Cells by CRISPR/Cas9 Gene Editing” at the Arkansas State Science and Engineering Fair. We are delighted to announce that she was awarded First Place in the Cellular and Molecular Biology category. Congratulations to Ashira and Farhana for their outstanding achievements!
