Congratulations Parimal Chowdhury, Ph.D.

Parimal Chowdhury, Ph.D., a Professor in the Department of Physiology and Biophysics, was awarded a LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD by the International Society of Tobacco Induced Diseases in their 14th TID Annual Conference held in Izmir, Turkey from October 3-6, 2018. Dr. Chowdhury served as President of the International Society for the Prevention of Tobacco Induced Diseases (ISPTID) from 2006-2008. He is currently the American Regional Director of the society and serves as an Associate Editor in the journal Tobacco Induced Diseases.
