Service

The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in the College of Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences provides physician services to the UAMS Rehabilitation Network.

Dedication

Our PM&R department is dedicated to providing rehabilitation opportunities for various patient populations including but not limited to sports medicine disorders, amputees, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, stroke, geriatrics, musculoskeletal and neuromuscular disorders. Our physiatrists are highly trained in spasticity management with baclofen pump clinics, and electrodiagnostic studies, ultra-sound and e-stim guided injections.

Opportunity

Education and training opportunities in comprehensive inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation medicine are enriched by clinical research, including clinical rotations for pre-doctoral medical students, post-doctoral students and continuing education.
