Directors Strengthening Families Self-Assessment:

Directors must complete a course on the Strengthening Families Protective Factors before taking this training.  Directors will learn how to use the Strengthening Families Self-Assessment Tool in this 2-hour course. The Self-Assessment helps programs determine how well they are implementing strategies to strengthen families and assists them in developing a practical action plan.   Both the self-assessment tool and an action plan are requirements of Better Beginnings Level 3.
