Strengthening Families is a researched-based, cost-effective strategy to increase family stability, enhance child development, and reduce child abuse and neglect.

Engage Parents and Protect Children

UAMS provides the following Strengthening Families class.

Intro to the Strengthening Families Protective Factors

This interactive online training will explore the Strengthening Families Framework and the five protective factors. Strengthening Families is a research-informed approach to increase family strengths, enhance child development, and reduce the likelihood of child abuse and neglect. This two-hour class meets the requirements for Better Beginnings Level 2.
