What I do in my free time: I enjoy staying active through recreational sports, hiking, and spending time outdoors with my wife, two young children, and our dogs.
Why I chose Otolaryngology: Through mentorship, shadowing, research, and away rotations, I developed a passion for otolaryngology and the opportunity to combine meaningful patient relationships with a diverse and rewarding surgical specialty.
Why I chose UAMS: My family and I were excited by the opportunity to join the UAMS community and make Little Rock our new home. We look forward to becoming part of a welcoming academic environment while building lasting connections in the community.

What I do in my free time: I enjoy working out, especially weightlifting and Pilates. I love going on walks with friends to
catch up, and in my downtime, I enjoy needlepoint as well as reading and listening to
audiobooks.
Why I chose UAMS: From my interview day, I immediately felt that the faculty were down-to-earth and genuinely
cared about residents as people. The program offers strong clinical and surgical training that
prepares residents well for independent practice. I was also drawn to Little Rock for its great
food scene, access to outdoor activities, and overall ease of getting around

Why I chose UAMS:
As an Arkansas native, I was drawn to UAMS because of its commitment to serving the people of Arkansas and its reputation for providing excellent clinical training. I knew UAMS would challenge me to grow while also providing a supportive environment to become the physician I aspire to be.
What I like about our program:
I appreciate the strong sense of camaraderie among the residents and the supportive faculty who are invested in our success both professionally and personally. The program offers outstanding training while fostering a culture of teamwork and mentorship.
What I like about Little Rock:
Little Rock offers the perfect balance of city amenities and outdoor recreation. I enjoy exploring local restaurants, spending time with family and friends, and taking advantage of the parks and trails throughout the area.
Fun Fact:
I am married to my high school sweetheart, Preston Arrington. We have been together since our senior year of high school, and he works in the agricultural industry. Family is very important to me, and I enjoy spending as much time as possible with my loved ones.
