AR-IMPACT (Arkansas Improving Multi-disciplinary Pain Care and Treatment) is a weekly interactive televideo conference providing free provider education credit for physicians, physician assistants, nurses, and pharmacists. It is funded by generous grants from Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield and the Office of the State Drug Director. Our partners are the Arkansas Medical Society, the Arkansas Academy of Family Medicine, the Arkansas Department of Health, and the Arkansas State Medical Board. These conferences are held from Noon to 1:00 p.m. every Wednesday through our website.
Our goal is to help the physicians, pharmacists and other providers in the state of Arkansas to better manage chronic pain patients through opioid sparing modalities. Our faculty includes six UAMS experts, including Dr. Johnathan Goree.
