The Arkansas Pain Management Symposium is a yearly event held by the Arkansas Pain Management Society with the following goals:
- To provide education and practical tools to primary care physicians in order to improve chronic pain treatment in the state of Arkansas.
- To provide access to advanced chronic pain skills to trainees in order to improve chronic pain treatment in the state of Arkansas
- To initiate a discussion about how to collectively improve chronic pain treatment in the state of Arkansas
Through the generous donations of multiple sponsors and a unique partnership between the UAMS Interventional Pain Clinic and the Baptist Health – Conway Interventional Pain Clinic over 200 health care professionals met on April 28th, 2018 to begin a conversation on how to improve access to opioid-sparing healthcare in the state of Arkansas.
