If you want to join our Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship, submit your application through the National Residency Match Program (NRMP) and its Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).
Information on our program can be obtained at any time, but formal inquiries and evaluation for interview selection begin each July. Deadlines for ERAS participation may vary each year but are outlined at the NRMP website.
However, our program will consider applications through November for interviews and will base our ranking decisions on the merits of applicant education, research and professional experience as well as interview impression.
Residents who are interested in completing an away rotation with us for their elective are encouraged to reach out to us for more information.

I chose UAMS/ACH for fellowship because of: I did residency here and loved it. I stayed on as an attending pediatrician in the ED and decided to pursue Fellowship to continue my education in pediatric Emergency Medicine and further my career.
My PEM interests include: I am interested in trauma, behavioral health, toxicology and teaching
In my free time… : I enjoy working in my Covid garden, working on the many home projects we have going, and listening to true crime podcasts.
Other things to know about me: I have a wonderful husband and a beautiful, feisty teenage daughter. We also have several cats (some might say too many, but we love them all) and one dog. I am very crafty. I can make a flower from almost anything and I am very handy with duct tape.

In my free time… : I spend time with my friends (game nights, karaoke and trivia!). I also have a wonderful church family and teach 4th-6th grade girls Sunday School.
Other things to know about me: I have the best family! My parents and sister are in northwest Arkansas and my grandparents live in Little Rock while my
brother is in Washington DC. We get together often with all the family dogs: Boaz, Dottie, Solomon and Oliver
