Dr. Bagchi was invited to publish a peer-reviewed article in the reputed journal Physiology. The article is titled “Histone Deacetylases in Metabolism: The Known and the Unexplored” and was included in the May print issue of the journal. Physiology, with a 2024 impact factor of 10.3, is published by the American Physiological Society, highlights cutting-edge advancements in physiology, and is written by leaders of the field. The first author of the article is Somaya Ibrahim, a Pharm.D./MBA dual degree candidate in the College of Pharmacy, and a student researcher in Dr. Bagchi’s lab. Jayden Carter, a CBP track student in GPIBS, who did his rotation in Dr. Bagchi’s lab, is a co-author on this article.
