- Root for the Arkansas Travelers (the Travs) as they play minor league baseball at Dickey Stephens Park.

What’s Great About Little Rock?
Little Rock offers the benefits of living in a bigger metropolitan area plus the conveniences of a smaller town. The cost of living in Little Rock is lower than the national average. Less traffic allows for shorter commutes.
Neighborhoods
Our neighborhoods range from luxurious, well-appointed loft apartments in midtown and downtown Little Rock, to the suburban and family-oriented dwellings of Chenal Valley, Hillcrest and The Heights.
The area west of downtown includes Chenal and Pleasant Valley. Many of our residents live in new apartment complexes in this area, including Bowman Pointe and the Pointe at Brodie Creek. West Little Rock also offers great restaurants and shopping.
The River Market
The River Market District is full of great restaurants and nightlife, complimented by outdoor amenities such as Riverfront Park and unique shops. And trolleys run through it! The Clinton Presidential Library sits on a 30-acre city park on the banks of the Arkansas River, and the replica of the White House Oval Office and Cabinet Room is worth a trip.
Family Friendly
With some excellent schools, Little Rock is very family-friendly. The Museum of Discovery is a great science museum for kids. The Arkansas Arts Center Children’s Theater offers wonderful productions. In addition to its collection of books, DVDs and CDs, the Hillary Rodham Clinton Children’s Library has a computer lab, teaching kitchen, theater, and community room. There are also trampoline parks and indoor climbing facilities.
Restaurants
Arkansas’s capital city offers an amazing selection of local restaurants, award-winning chefs and unique local dining, which provides a dining experience that can only be found in Little Rock. Some of our resident’s favorites include Maddie’s Place, Zaza’s Pizza, The Pantry, Lost 40, Big Orange, Dam Goode Pies, Dizzy’s Gypsy Bistro, Whole Hog, Flying Fish, Baja Grill, Boulevard Bread and Three Fold Noodles.
Weekend Trips
Because Little Rock is centrally located in Arkansas, there are many things to do within a short drive. Floating the Buffalo River is a popular summer activity. Northwest Arkansas includes Fayetteville if you want to watch a Razorback football or basketball game. Bentonville’s Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art has five centuries of American masterworks and admission is free! Crater of Diamonds in Murfreesboro is one of the only places in the world where you can search for real diamonds in their original volcanic source – finders’ keepers! Hot Springs offers several attractions, including Magic Springs waterpark and Garvan Woodland Botanical Gardens – its new $1 million treehouse is every kid’s dream. If you want to head out of the area for a weekend, Dallas, Memphis, Tulsa, and Nashville are short drives. Little Rock has a great airport that is easy to navigate with short wait times.
