Guidance for Acknowledging and Citing Core Facilities and Shared Resources
Investigators are encouraged to cite or acknowledge core facilities and shared resources in manuscripts, posters, grants, and other scholarly work that benefits from their services. Authorship is not required for projects to be completed or for services to be provided. Future eligibility for internal funding will be contingent upon the appropriate acknowledgment of core facilities or shared resources in investigator-related work. Open communication between investigators and cores is advisable, to clarify expectations of outcomes, deliverables, and manuscript contributions.
