Core and Shared Resource User Survey 2024
The most recent survey was conducted in September 2024, gathering valuable feedback from faculty on various aspects of core facility services. This survey will be offered annually to help ensure services continue to meet the needs of the research community.
Response Rates
The survey received solid response rates of 53% overall, with 46% from the College of Medicine (COM) and 57% from Basic Science departments. These responses are crucial for guiding our strategic direction and we encourage even greater faculty participation in future surveys to ensure continued improvement.
User Satisfaction
The feedback pertaining to user satisfaction of core facilities was overwhelmingly positive, with an overall satisfaction score of 4.2 out of 5. This strong rating reflects that users are generally very pleased across areas including instrumentation, staff support, and quality of results. We value feedback as part of our dedication to ensuring top-tier service in our core facilities.
