Nicholas Zoumberos, M.D.

Nicholas A. Zoumberos, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Dermatopathology section at The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Prior to joining the faculty at UAMS, Dr. Zoumberos completed his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and subsequent subspecialty training in Dermatopathology at the University of Michigan. Dr. Zoumberos’ professional interests include clinical education as well as leadership. He has been involved at the national level in numerous leadership roles, including as a junior member of the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology’s Education Committee, as well as serving on the Resident and Fellow Advisory Committee for the American Board of Pathology. His academic interests include difficult melanocytic lesions, such as atypical Spitz tumors and other borderline lesions, vesiculobullous disorders, and Merkel cell carcinoma.
