Thomas A. Jennings, M.D., Ph.D., is the Program Director of the Department of Dermatology, Assistant Professor and is Director of Dermatologic Surgery at the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS).
Dr. Jennings received his medical degree from UAMS in 2010. Prior to this, he completed his graduate studies at UAMS, earning a doctorate in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the UAMS Graduate School in 2008. He completed residency in dermatology at UAMS, serving as a chief resident during his final year. This was followed by a fellowship in procedural dermatology and Mohs micrographic surgery at the University of Alabama Birmingham Medical Center, where he completed over one thousand cases.
Dr. Jennings is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. His clinical interests are in surgical treatment of cutaneous malignancy and in functional and aesthetic reconstruction of complex surgical wounds.
