What are your particular clinical interests?
My clinical interests include inpatient medicine with a focus on preventive medicine. I look forward to improving the health of my patients and community through patient education, promoting health equity, and forming meaningful patient-physician relationships.
Why did you choose Family Medicine?
I love that I get exposed to multiple fields within Family Medicine and essentially receive the best in all worlds. I really believe this holistic exposure will train me to be a confident and well-rounded physician. I am also looking forward to forming meaningful patient-physician relationships as I work with my patients through various stages of their lives, as well as making a difference in my community through advocacy.
Why did you choose the Little Rock Family Medicine residency program?
I wanted a residency program that not only provides excellent clinical training but also gives importance to resident wellness and feedback. During my interview day, I knew I would receive this and more at UAMS-Little Rock. The residents not only spoke highly about the extensive support they received but the faculty were really invested in my goals and how they could help me meet my full potential. I left my interview day convinced that these were my people and I wanted to learn from them.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of medicine?
In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, whether that means playing tennis, exploring the city with an iced coffee by my side, or traveling. I am also a huge foodie and love trying new restaurants as well as making different recipes at home.
