The Preventive Medicine Residency Program is an advanced program that begins in the PGY-2 year, with each applicant having successfully completed a clinical PGY-1 year with at least 11 months of direct patient care in the inpatient or outpatient setting at an ACGME-accredited program within the United States before entering the program, leading toward board certification in Preventive Medicine.
