What are your particular clinical interests?
My clinical interest lies in preventive care and nutrition. I believe that thoroughly educating my patients in nutrition, life style habits, and medication usage will better their health outcome. I truly believe that concentrating in what we put in our body can change the way our bodies respond to disease.
Why did you choose Family Medicine?
I choose Family Medicine because I love the long-term relationships with my patients and the meaningful connection I can build with them throughout their life. In addition, I am also passionate about preventive medicine which is the basis of family medicine.
Why did you choose the Little Rock Family Medicine residency program?
I choose UAMS Family Medicine residency program because the staff and residents seem very supportive of each other. In addition, I have a love for teaching and wanted the opportunity to be in an academic institution where I can the opportunity to teach medical students.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of medicine?
When I am free, I love to travel! I have been on every continent besides Antarctica and plan on going the next time I am available. I also hike, play piano, and paint.
