I’m originally from Ndoki, Abia State, Nigeria, married from Uzoagba, Ikeduru, Imo State, Nigeria.
Where did you attend medical school?
Igbinedion University Okada, Edo State, Nigeria
What are your particular clinical interests?
I am particularly interested in primary care and preventive medicine because I value the long term relationships with patients and helping my patients make healthy choices. I am also interested in acquiring hands-on skills that will be be beneficial to my patients.
Why did you choose Family Medicine?
I chose Family Medicine because I love the continuity of care that it offers. It’s exciting to be able to see a patient from childhood till they’re old and gray. I love the diversity of patient population in Family Medicine.
Why did you choose the Little Rock Family Medicine residency program?
I totally enjoyed the interactions I had on my interview day, and I felt the good vibes from the residents and faculty. I knew right away that this would be the best fit for me. In addition to that, I chose the UAMS Little Rock Family Medicine residency program because I was impressed by the excellent achievements of the faculty and staff and also the high quality of residency training. I was drawn to the diversity amongst the residents as well and I look forward to learning more about different cultures and backgrounds.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of medicine?
Some of my hobbies include traveling, working out, spending time with my family, and hosting people (not the cleaning, though …lol).
