What are your particular clinical interests?
I am interested in providing comprehensive and personalized care to underserved populations, including the Latino population. Also, I am passionate about women’s health topics such as pregnancy, family planning and menopause.
Why did you choose Family Medicine?
I am drawn to the continuity of care, the trust built with patients, and the broad scope of medicine required to meet the diverse needs of each individual. I believe Family Medicine provides the support many patients cannot get anywhere else, closing an important gap in the health system. It is exciting learning how to help people!
Why did you choose the Little Rock Family Medicine residency program?
During my second look, I knew this program was a great fit for me. This program is not only diverse in its training environments, but also in its people, everyone has important backgrounds and knowledge to share. Both the residents and faculty are very welcoming and will always offer to help and teach. UAMS Little Rock has an impressive establishment filled with the best staff and the tools you need to have a good practice.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of medicine?
I am passionate about music, exercising, and playing board games. Finding new artists and attending concerts is one of my favorite activities, among with gym training, hiking, rugby, and collecting cards.
