What are your particular clinical interests?
I am passionate about primary care, especially preventive medicine. I enjoy helping patients stay healthy through early intervention, chronic disease management, and building long-term relationships that support their overall well-being.
Why did you choose Family Medicine?
I chose Family Medicine because I really enjoyed it during my rotations. I loved taking care of patients with a wide range of conditions and being able to help them in so many different ways, from preventive care to managing chronic diseases. What I enjoyed most was getting to know my patients over time and building meaningful relationships with them. I like seeing the whole person, not just one disease, and partnering with patients to improve their health over the long term. That’s the kind of physician I want to be.
Why did you choose the Little Rock Family Medicine residency program?
I chose the Little Rock Family Medicine Residency because everyone I met was genuinely kind and welcoming. The faculty are dedicated to teaching, and the senior residents are always willing to help and support each other. I really liked the positive, family-like culture of the program. It felt like a place where I could learn, grow, and enjoy residency at the same time.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of medicine?
Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my daughter. We love exploring parks, museums, and new places together. I also enjoy running, journaling, meditating, and spending time with friends. I used to enjoy cooking traditional Chinese dishes, but these days I’m happy to spend that time with my daughter instead.
