Family Medical Center
The Family Medical Center (FMC), located on the UAMS campus, serves as one of the clinical training sites for the FM residents. It was the first clinic in Arkansas to be NCQA-certified as a Level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH). The FMC combines excellent clinical facilities with space for conferences and individual study. Computer workstations are present in each patient room to access the electronic medical record. Access to the Internet, Ovid and other clinical decision making software programs are available to residents over our computer network.

Pediatric training throughout residency occurs at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, a nationally recognized facility, just a short distance from UAMS.
