I was born and raised in Warangal, India. I worked as a hospitalist at Mercy Health, and as a faculty at Cleveland Clinic and Mayo Clinic health systems. I am pursuing a master’s degree in clinical and translational research at the Mayo Clinic. I plan to pursue an academic cardiology career focusing on clinical research. Besides work, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking and traveling.

I am originally from Jordan. I moved to Arkansas in 2019 to do my IM residency with my wife, Hadeel (who is also an IM resident at UAMS), and our baby boy Baraa. We enjoy spending time exploring the beautiful nature here in Arkansas. I like reading and writing poems. I’m also an avid soccer fan, love to play and watch my favorite team’s (Barcelona) games.
