Salman Zahoor, M.D., has joined the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) as a fellowship-trained neurologist specializing in epilepsy.
He sees patients at the UAMS Health Epilepsy and Neurology Clinic in Freeway Medical Tower, Suite 605, 5800 W. 10th St., just off Interstate 630 in Midtown Little Rock.

The multidisciplinary epilepsy team includes three fellowship-trained epilepsy physicians, a functional neurosurgeon, a specially trained advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) and registered nurses (RNs). Any needed surgical procedures are supported by the nearby main UAMS campus, which houses the only adult level 4 Epilepsy Center in the state, the highest accreditation available from the National Association of Epilepsy Centers and recognition that UAMS can provide all types of epilepsy evaluation, care, monitoring and surgery.
Zahoor provides comprehensive care for adults with epilepsy by incorporating the latest diagnostic techniques to make individualized treatment plans, including medications and surgeries where appropriate.
Zahoor is a board-certified neurologist with fellowship training in clinical neurophysiology and the management of epilepsy. He graduated from Rawalpindi Medical College in Pakistan. He completed his neurology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, where he was chief resident. He completed fellowships in clinical neurophysiology and epilepsy at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, where he served as a chief fellow.
He also is an assistant professor in the Department of Neurology in the UAMS College of Medicine.
