Overview
Students interested in pursuing their Ph.D. degree in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology should apply to GPIBS. This program offers students the opportunity to pursue training in a wide range of disciplines while providing a foundation in the basic sciences. Students that are accepted into the GPIBS Program to begin their Ph.D. training will rotate in a minimum of three laboratories during the first semester to learn about research interests and techniques across campus and to meet potential faculty advisors and their research teams. Students will select one of six graduate tracks at the end of the first semester based on their choice of faculty advisor. Students do not select a major faculty advisor prior to admission.
