Mahtab Toulany, MD, is Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation’s Newest Michael Geisman Fellow

Dr. Mahtab Toulany, Research Technologist in Dr. Roy Morello’s lab, was recently awarded the OIF’s Michael Geisman Fellowship. Her wonderful profile, and details of her award are found on page 15 of the latest issue of Breakthrough.

Congratulations to Dr. Aric Anloague, Ph.D.!

Dr. Anloague, from Dr. Jesus Delgado-Calle’s lab, successfully defended his dissertation, “Local Crosstalk Between Osteocytes and Multiple Myeloma Cells Drives Tumor Growth and Bone Destruction” on June 26th, 2026. He will leave UAMS on July 17th to join Dr. Megan Weivoda’s lab at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN as a postdoctoral fellow. There, he will continue research in multiple myeloma. We wish Dr. Anloague every success as he takes this next exciting step in his career.

UAMS, UA and Arkansas Children’s Research Institute Collaborate to Support Women’s Health Research In Arkansas
