A strong showing by UAMS Musculoskeletal researchers will take place at the upcoming meetings of the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research (ASBMR), the ASBMR Pre-Meeting on Osteocytes, and the Endocrine Fellows Forum (EFF) in Vancouver (October 11th-16th). Faculty, postdocs, and students will present 6 invited talks, 7 oral presentations, 15 posters (including 2 oral and 6 plenary) and will receive several awards including the Most Outstanding Translational Award, 2 Young Investigator Awards, and 6 Travel Awards.
Presenters and awardees are from the UAMS departments of Physiology and Cell Biology, Internal Medicine (Endocrinology Division), Orthopaedics, Bioinformatics, and the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System.
