Schedules

Unmatched Experience

Our residents gain a wide breadth of experience from their schedules throughout their PGY years. Interns in particular will have one month rotations in general surgery, vascular surgery, surgical oncology, colorectal surgery, pediatric surgery, plastic surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, SICU, and trauma surgery (while on night float). This will enable residents to see a wide variety of specialties early on to decide if they wish to subspecialize. As our residents move up in their PGY years, the rotations become longer for more continuity of care, with our chief residents spending their time rotating in two to three month blocks.
