Chairman’s Message

Tony Seupaul, M.D.
I would like to thank you for taking the time to visit our website to learn more about our fantastic Emergency Medicine family. As emergency physicians, we have the distinct privilege of caring for others at their greatest time of need. At UAMS, we pride ourselves on developing talented physicians to exceed the expectations of performing this critical service.
Opportunities for an exceptionally well-rounded experience are too numerous to list but include our brand new state of the art Emergency Department with a growing annual census (greater than 60,000), Arkansas’ only adult Level 1 trauma center, the Arkansas Children’s Hospital with an annual ED census greater than 50,000, community ED exposure, statewide telemedicine programs, and more.
Our most important asset, however, is our people. You will learn Emergency Medicine working alongside our diverse and gifted Emergency Medicine faculty, APNs, RNs, and techs. Additionally, the institution fosters an unmatched collegial environment supporting the success of our Department’s educational goals.
I invite you to visit us in Little Rock. The community is as vibrant as our passion for your success in Emergency Medicine!
