I was born in Hong Kong, raised in Brazil and lived for many years in Bulgaria and Chicago.
Where did you attend medical school?
Medical University of Sofia, Bulgaria.
What other educational credentials do you have?
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Universidade Catolica de Brasilia, Brazil.
What are your particular clinical interests?
I am interested in preventive medicine and performing in-office procedures. Medical informatics is another interest of mine.
Why did you choose Family Medicine?
I enjoy the diversity of Family Medicine as we get to treat a broad spectrum of health conditions across all age groups. The trust and long-lasting bonds with patients and their families are also very rewarding.
Why did you choose the Little Rock Family Medicine residency program?
Being part of a university program allows me to train with the best specialists. It is amazing how our faculty focuses not only on our professional development but also on our well-being. The wellness committee and the flexibility of the electives were qualities that really stood out about the Little Rock Family Medicine residency program. Ultimately, the family atmosphere in our program is truly what I value the most.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of medicine?
Traveling is my passion. I love sightseeing, trying new cuisines, and exploring the beauty and uniqueness of each place I visit. Hiking is another activity I really enjoy, and Little Rock is the perfect place for year-round outdoor fun. During my free time, I also like baking and watching movies, and am particularly inspired by those based on true stories.
