Paving the Way to Health Through Your Fork
(Resident and Fellow Wellness Program)
Over a three-year period, the COM GME Office will work in partnership with the UAMS Culinary Medicine program to provide a workshop to UAMS residents and fellows that will enhance their personal well-being.
Take a culinary dive into the world of the Mediterranean diet, learn how to incorporate Culinary Medicine into your daily life and future practice. This workshop takes place inside our state-of-the-art teaching kitchen. Participants will have the opportunity to cook, compete and create inspiring plant-forward entrees, meal kits, and pantry staples. As the food simmers, a culinary medicine instructor will facilitate activities aimed to stir up our consciousness and self-awareness in efforts to align our current habits to habits that will better our health and the health of our community, big and small, personal and professional.
