The UAMS Department of Neurosurgery is comprised of several clinical programs that encompass the entire spectrum of neurosurgical disorders. These programs are widely known for the personal attention patients receive and the expertise represented in the surgical teams.
Each of our physicians is not only highly skilled in general neurosurgery but they have all also received additional training in a specific neurosurgical specialty. This, along with our department’s strong focus on research and education, ensures our patients receive care using the latest advances, techniques, and technologies available. Patients are referred to UAMS from around the United States and throughout the world for treatment of a full range of neurosurgical conditions.
