Dr. Gonzalez-Krellwitz is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pathology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). She obtained her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine, Detroit, MI in 2008. She completed residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI (2008-20012). She completed Pediatric Pathology fellowship training at Children’s Hospital of MI/Detroit Medical Center (2012-2013) after which she joined UAMS as an Assistant Professor in 2013.
Dr. Gonzalez-Krellwitz clinical responsibilities are in Pediatric Pathology and Autopsy at Arkansas Children’s Hospital where she serves as the section director of Autopsy and Cytopathology. She is the director of the Pediatric rotation for the Pathology residents and enjoys teaching them in addition to medical students. She is focused in quality resident and medical school education and promoting the specialty of Pediatric Pathology. Her academic interests include complex congenital heart disease, GI and bone and soft tissue pathology. She also enjoys collaborating with colleagues in various areas of Pathology.
