Dr. Henrich-Lobo was born in La Paz, Bolivia. He is an Associate Professor of Pathology and subspecializes in Hematopathology. He received his medical degree from Semmelweis University in Budapest, Hungary, and completed his anatomic and clinical pathology (AP/CP) residency at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, D.C. He then completed a fellowship in Hematopathology at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, WI. He has many publications and a book chapter to his credit.
Dr. Henrich-Lobo is board-certified in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology by the American Board of Pathology, with subspecialty certification in Hematopathology. He is intimately involved in resident education and serves in several Departmental Committees, and is the former Director of Resident education and curriculum for Clinical Pathology.
He is the Director of the Hematopathology Fellowship Program.
