Favorite Aspects of Pathology: What’s not to love! I think it’s honestly beautiful to look at and so rewarding to figure out the root cause of patient’s ailments.
Outside of Medicine: I am an avid painter of surrealism, hiker, gardener, and reader of fiction!
Why I Like UAMS Pathology: Everyone is so willing to teach and equally willing to learn. The area is also gorgeous and there is plenty to do outside of the hospital. I knew during my audition that the people here were going to support me in the best way!
Favorite Activity in Arkansas: I love hiking around the area, going on floating trips and going to Crystal Bridges
Favorite Restaurant in Little Rock: Bar Louie, Homer’s Kitchen Table and Lost Forty Brewery
If I weren’t a pathologist, I would be: Probably a veterinarian! I love animals and it’s another scientific field that deals with so many different aspects of healing.
