New Residents 2025-2026
We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve successfully matched three exceptional individuals who will be joining us as PGY-1 Otolaryngology residents for the 2025–2026 academic year.
Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Aaron, Peter, and Denver! We’re excited for the energy, talent, and fresh perspectives they’ll bring to our residency family.
As they prepare to begin this exciting new chapter, we encourage everyone to reach out and help them feel right at home.

Dr. Highland is originally from Morrison, Colorado. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Colorado Boulder. After getting her bachelor’s degree, she took several years off from school to volunteer abroad and work with underserved patients near her hometown in Denver, Colorado, during which time she became a certified Spanish medical interpreter. She went on to complete her medical degree at the University of Colorado Denver and completed her surgical training in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Utah.
"After practicing general otolaryngology for two years and realizing that caring for children with conditions affecting the head and neck was what was most compelling to me, I decided to pursue a pediatric fellowship at UAMS. It offers the perfect blend of challenging surgical techniques, patient interaction, and care for people with highly impactful disorders, especially those that affect hearing and breathing."
