The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery recently celebrated the graduation of:
- Olivia Daigle, M.D., who is practicing in Covington, Louisiana.
- Mariah Small-O’Sullivan, M.D., who is practicing in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
- Donald Vickers, M.D., who is practicing in Columbus, Georgia.
The department also celebrated the completion of the following fellowships:
- Robert Saadi, M.D., otology, who joined the UAMS faculty in July.
- Mary Timbang, M.D., pediatrics, who is practicing at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles
- Del Sloneker, M.D., head and neck, who is in private practice in Northwest Arkansas.
The following awards, voted on by faculty, were given for resident presentations at the 2nd Annual Otolaryngology Diamond Conference:
Highest Excellence in Scientific Research Presentation: Chrystal Lau, M.D.
Excellence in Scientific Presentation: Mary Catherine Brown, M.D.
Other awards given at the annual graduation ceremony were as follows:

Highest Score on the Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery In-Service Exam: Mariah Small-O’Sullivan, M.D.
Service Awards, given by residents to those who provided outstanding service that made their lives less complicated and more enjoyable : Lauren Vinyard, RN, and Emily Anne Gray, SLP.
Teaching Award: Ozlem Tulunay-Ugur, M.D. Given by the residents to honor exemplary service and dedication.
