Dr. Wen Chien Hsi, Ph.D.

Dr. Hsi Portrait

Dr. Hsi works with our Radiation Oncology Team and Proton Center as associate professor for medical physics in the Department of Radiation Oncology. He joined us from the University of Florida Health Proton Therapy Institute in Jacksonville, Florida, where he worked for the past four years. There, he established the quality control program of proton center’s multiple-room delivery system. Since serving as a doctoral student in the Cyclotron Laboratory at Michigan State University in the mid 90’s, Dr. Hsi has been on the forefront of proton therapy science with more than 20 years of experience in medical physics and proton therapy. He was senior medical physicist at the McLaren Proton Therapy Center in Flint, Michigan, and the Shanghai Proton Center in Shanghai, China.
