Silambarasan Anbumani, Ph.D.

 

Silambarasan Anbumani, Ph.D., joined the Medical Physics Residency Program in July 2025 with a strong physics background. Dr. Anbumani completed a CAMPEP-accredited medical physics program and postdoctoral research at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He earned his doctorate in experimental condensed-matter physics from Anna University, Chennai, India.

Dr. Anbumani’s research interests include advancing on-board imaging for adaptive radiotherapy and evaluating emerging technologies to accelerate treatment planning. He aims to advance the field and improve patient outcomes through clinical practice and research, in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Outside of work, he loves exploring outdoor activities and spending quality time playing with his children.
