Sept. 16, 2019 | LITTLE ROCK – Radiation oncologist Gary Lewis, M.D., has joined the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and sees patients at the UAMS Radiation Oncology Center. He also serves as assistant professor in the UAMS College of Medicine Department of Radiation Oncology.
His clinical practice focuses on head and neck cancers, gynecological cancers, and blood cancers.
Lewis is a graduate of Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, and completed his internship at the Crozer Chester Medical Center in Upland, Pennsylvania.
He served as chief resident at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, where his residency included rotations at both MD Anderson Cancer Center and Houston Medical Hospital, both in Houston.
He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American College of Radiation Oncology, American Society for Radiation Oncology and American Brachytherapy Society, among others.
His research focuses on clinical trials and clinical outcomes.
