With over 75 attendees, including esteemed faculty, residents, and medical students, the event proved to be a resounding success, highlighting the cutting-edge research endeavors within the department.

Six early-career researchers have been selected to receive two years of funded translational research training and support in the UAMS Translational Research Institute (TRI) KL2 Mentored Research Career Development Scholar Awards Program. Michail Mavros, M.D., from our department was one of the awardees.
