Many of our faculty are fellowship-trained in a wide range of specialties including Pediatrics, Pediatric Cardiovascular, Adult Cardiothoracic, Critical Care, Pain Medicine, Regional and Acute Pain Medicine, and Obstetric Anesthesia. Expertise is available in all types of anesthesia care including cardiovascular, neurosurgical, otolaryngological, and obstetrical as well as adult pain problems of both acute and chronic nature. The department provides pre and post-anesthetic consultations in all the above-mentioned areas.
We pride ourselves on having an active research program focused on prospective clinical trials, retrospective observational designs, and cost-effective analysis. We are members of the Multicenter Perioperative Outcomes Group (MPOG) and Wake Up Safe. Faculty may select from a variety of academic tracks to create the ideal blend of clinical, educational, research, and administrative contributions. We prioritize equity, transparency, teamwork, and innovation as core values in creating the ideal work environment for our faculty.
