Clinical Informatics Fellowship Graduate Dr. Wong Joins University of Southern California

Lori Wong, M.D., MPH, has accepted a position at the University of Southern California (USC) as a Data Innovation Clinical Informatician.

Dr. Wong is a 2022 graduate of the UAMS Clinical Informatics Fellowship Program. She published several papers and gave multiple presentations during her time with the two-year fellowship program. She is moving into a 100% clinical informatics position at USC, which aligns with her career goals.

“Clinical informatics is a broad and growing field. Graduates can be employed in academia, public health, or industry in clinical, non-clinical, research, or innovation roles – the list goes on. We’re happy to support our fellows in crafting an educational and training experience that meets their goals, and celebrate with them when they succeed,” said Pele Yu Jr., M.D., fellowship program director.

Dr. Wong is a member of the inaugural graduating class of fellows for the program. Her classmates have continued on at in academic clinical and research roles at UAMS.
