Dr. Pele Yu’s pharmacogenomics work, bringing precision medicine to Arkansas Children’s Hospital at the intersection of pharmacology and genomics, is featured in Arkansas Medical News.
Dr. Yu is director of the Clinical Informatics (CI) Fellowship Program, a pediatrician, Chief Medical Information Officer at Arkansas Children’s, and a professor of Pediatrics, Biomedical Informatics, and Public Health at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
Pharmacogenomic technology allows informaticians and physicians to tailor drug treatments and dosages to specific patients based on their individual genomics. Dr. Yu has previously presented about the project at Epic XGM.
