Clinical Informatics Featured on UAMS Health Talk Podcast

Clinical informatics takes center stage on this edition of the UAMS Health Talk Podcast.

Dr. Pele Yu, professor of Pediatrics and Biomedical Informatics and program director for the department’s Clinical Informatics Fellowship, talks about how clinical informatics has the power to transform health care.

Clinical informaticians design and evaluate information and communication systems that enhance individual and population health outcomes and improve patient care.

The UAMS Department of Biomedical Informatics is home to the UAMS/Arkansas Children’s Clinical Informatics Fellowship Program, an ACGME-accredited program that offers sub-specialty training to physicians from any specialty. Fellows learn to be researchers, liaisons between health and tech, and project leaders.
