Dr. Yu will provide a brief introduction to the program and take questions. This is a great opportunity to learn more about Clinical Informatics and about our two-year ACGME-accredited subspecialty training program, with training sites at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
We are recruiting for one adult specialty slot for the ’23-’24 academic year. Although we typically offer an annual slot for a pediatrician and an applicant from an adult specialty, we have already recruited a pediatrician who will start in the ’23-’24 academic year. We will return to having an open pediatrics slot in the 2023 application cycle for the ’24-’25 academic year
When & How to Apply
For the 2022 application cycle for the ’23-’24 academic year, applicants can begin submitting applications on July 6, 2022. Programs may begin looking at them on July 20, 2022. Our program typically holds interviews in October and November. The Clinical Informatics subspecialty match process is hosted by the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA), typically in December, through its own process and match algorithm outside of ERAS. Participants typically need to join AMIA to participate. There is a student membership option.
