It’s a pleasure to introduce Dr. Nicholas “Cole” Rowley, who will be joining us as our incoming Clinical Informatics Fellow at Arkansas Children’s. Cole brings a thoughtful, collaborative spirit along with a strong passion for improving how we care for our smallest patients.
Originally from Austin and raised in Flower Mound, Texas, Cole completed undergraduate studies at Baylor University, where Cole also met his better half, LeAnne. He completed medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, followed by pediatric residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
Cole is currently pursuing a dual fellowship training in Neonatology and will begin additional training in Clinical Informatics in July 2026. Interests include bronchopulmonary dysplasia and intraventricular hemorrhage in preterm infants, with a particular focus on using informatics to make clinical data more accessible, actionable, and meaningful at the bedside. Cole is especially interested in building tools within the electronic health record that support both clinical care and research collaboration.
