The MVP of the Month for July 2026 from the UAMS Department of Family and Preventive Medicine and the Primary Care and Population Health Service Line is Cortney Webb-Kemp. Cortney is a Program Manager with Department of Family Medicine Administrative Team and has been a valued member of Team UAMS for 7 years!
Cortney was recognized for the following:
- Taking ownership and leadership to oversee the renovation of the FM LR hospital resident workroom. This project was launched in early June with a deadline of June 30.
- Cortney demonstrated exceptional commitment to this project by coordinating efforts before the start of her workday and staying late alongside her team to ensure timely completion.
- Cortney’s strong collaboration across facilities, IT and clinical teams enabled a smooth implementation with minimal disruptions to residents and their patient care responsibilities. The result is a modern, organized workspace that enhances resident productivity, supports well-being and reflects a strong culture of responsiveness, teamwork and continuous improvement.
Cortney will receive a certificate of recognition and a gift bag. She also will be honored during the annual DFPM Research Symposium.
