What are your particular clinical interests?
I have interests in lifestyle medicine, pediatric care, women’s health, behavioral and mental health, in-office procedures, and patient education. I enjoy taking care of all patient demographics and believe that health is multifactorial. I hope to help my patients learn about and take control of their own health!
Why did you choose Family Medicine?
I chose Family Medicine because it allows me to care for patients of all ages and backgrounds while building meaningful relationships that grow over time. I enjoy the variety that each day brings and the lifelong learning that comes with caring for a wide range of health concerns. One of the most rewarding aspects of Family Medicine is partnering with patients throughout their lives, advocating for them, helping them navigate their healthcare, and empowering them to take an active role in their own well-being. I feel privileged to earn my patients’ trust and to be a consistent source of support as they work toward healthier lives.
Why did you choose the Little Rock Family Medicine residency program?
I am a lifelong resident of the Southeast United States with a personal connection to the northern region of Arkansas. It is an honor to give back to the communities that raised me. In addition, I wish to achieve the best possible education in residency; it is my experience that university-based programs have the most resources for my learning interests.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of medicine?
I enjoy eating and cooking new cuisines; doing fiber arts crafts (such as embroidery, cross stitch, crochet, and machine sewing); and spending time with my family and cat. I also love reading and watching fantasy or science fiction media, as well as playing a wide variety of console-based video games.
