Edgardo J. Angtuaco, M.D. Education Endowment in Neuroradiology
In October 2018, the Departments of Radiology and Neurology jointly established the Edgardo J. Angtuaco M. D. Education Endowment for Neuroradiology in memory of “Dr. Eddie” who was the chief of neuroradiology since 2017. The endowment fund is designed to support educational activities for both departments by sponsoring CME programs and support trainees in neurology or radiology to present their research at a national meeting.
Diner Family Endowment for Radiology Resident Education/Diner Lecture
Dedicated to maintaining excellence in radiology by supporting resident education through the Diner Learning Center. Allocation of funds from the endowment is decided by committee (the department chairman or his designate, the radiology residency program director, and chief residents). This fund also supports our visiting professor for the annual Diner Lecture, introducing our residents to nationally prominent leaders in radiology. The Annual Radiology Diner Memorial Lecture in Radiology was founded in 1989 by Dr. Wilma Diner, the first female radiologist to join our faculty and the first program director of our accredited Radiology Residency in memory of her husband, Mr. Jack Diner, a medical illustrator, ocularist and facial prosthetist. After Dr. Diner’s death in 2017, the department dedicated the lecture series in honor of Jack and Wilma Diner.

Radiology Education Fund
In 2014, we established a Radiology Education Fund to supplement residency education activities such as the AIRP, review courses, and professional meeting attendance. The purpose of the fund is to expand educational and net-working opportunities for residents and teaching faculty, offset the cost of education resources, support invited speakers and resident recruitment, and reward extraordinary educational achievements. Other activities which enhance GME in the department may be funded at the discretion of the Program Director.
