“Tips for the Radiology Residency Pre-application process,” by Drs. Ireland, Deloney, and Jambhekar from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, was published August 27th. This was the second article in a series to help medical students plan for a career in radiology. This was the second article in a series of six Aunt Minnie will run throughout the 2018-19 academic year to help medical students plan for a career in radiology. The articles answer common questions that radiology program directors and advisors are frequently asked and offer practical advice on how to apply to radiology residency programs.
Complementing the series is #6StepsToRads, a bimonthly Tweet chat (or Twitter chat) designed for medical students discuss the articles with radiology residency program directors in real time. The chats are hosted by Brian Casey, Editor-in-Chief of AuntMinnie.com. Dr. Jambhekar was one of the moderators for the first chat (June 25th) as well as for the second chat that focused on our paper (August 25th).
